What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. "Local storage" works the same way. UK law (PECR and UK GDPR) requires us to tell you what we use and, for anything that isn't strictly necessary, to ask your consent first and let you withdraw it just as easily.
What we set today
Today this website sets only strictly necessary cookies and local-storage items. These are required for the site, its forms, sign-in and payments to work, and do not require your consent — but you have the right to know about them.

Optional cookies — only with your consent
Our cookie notice lets you switch on two optional categories. Neither is running at present, so switching them on has no effect until we introduce a tool. If we do, it will be one of the following, and it will only load once you have consented:
- Analytics — anonymous page-view and enquiry measurement (for example Google Analytics or Plausible).
- Marketing — measuring the performance of our adverts and social posts (for example the Meta pixel).
Our website's own conversion-tracking code is switched off in your browser unless you have allowed analytics cookies.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — it is as easy as giving it. Our Cookie Settings page lists every cookie individually, with a switch for each optional group and a delete button for each item.
The same Cookie settings link appears in the footer of every page. You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of the site working.
Third-party requests
The site loads Google Fonts to render typography. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com which involves your IP address. Card payments are handled on Stripe's secure infrastructure; we never see or store your full card details.
